Meet the Innkeepers
Hello from Healdsburg!
As both owners and operators of the George Alexander House, we hope you will consider staying with us on your visit. Here is a short background on us. We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and have made so many corporate moves we stopped counting. The list includes Washington D.C., Chicago, Kansas City and Menlo Park.
From 1986 – 1994, we lived in Japan and traveled extensively throughout Asia. As such, you will see some of our favorite piece throughout the property. Our last relocation brought us to Sonoma County in 2000 where we found this wonderful home and town.
When not at the B&B, Mel is involved with medical device start-ups. Our two children, (Adam and Whitney), are in graduate school and are converted Californians as well. Our interests when we have the time include travel, photography, quilting and wine.
